Mounds View City Council May 10, 2010 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty read a letter and resolution from Representative Tillberry noting the City of 1 <br />Mounds View was selected as an American Crown Community. He felt this was an honor and 2 <br />reflected well on the efforts of City staff, Commissions, task forces and the Council. 3 <br /> 4 <br /> B. Reports of Staff. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Clerk-Administrator Ericson reminded Council of the League of Minnesota Conference in St. 7 <br />Cloud this June. He reported the 2010 budget has funds set aside if Councilmembers wished to 8 <br />attend. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Finance Director Beer reviewed approximate cuts to State Aid with the Council noting the 11 <br />current State deficit was $3 billion.
