Mounds View City Council June 14, 2010 <br />Regular Meeting Page 12 <br /> <br /> 1 <br />Community Development Director Roberts advised that Select Senior Living, represented by Joel 2 <br />Larson, has submitted a letter requesting the final plat and development agreement be re-3 <br />approved for a fourth time. They still plan to construct this project but unfortunately continue 4 <br />running into problems beyond their control. Staff requests that the City Council pass Resolution 5 <br />7623, reapproving the Select Senior Living final plat and development agreement. 6 <br /> 7 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7623, 8 <br />reapproving the Select Senior Living Final Plat and Development Agreement. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Mueller commended staff and Council for working with the applicant to 11 <br />complete this building project as this was a much needed entity for the City of Mounds View. 12 <br /> 13 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 14 <br /> 15 <br />K. Resolution 7632, Approving a Step Increase for Community Development 16 <br />Director Ken Roberts and a Longevity Increase for Policy Officer Ben 17 <br />Knitter, MVPD 18 <br /> 19 <br />Assistant Clerk-Administrator Crane stated that Community Development Director Ken Roberts 20 <br />is a current employee with the City of Mounds View. His supervisor, James Ericson, has 21 <br />reviewed his performance as it relates to his responsibilities outlined in the job description. It 22 <br />was determined that Community Development Director Roberts has satisfactory performed in 23 <br />the capacity of his position, and therefore, a step increase wage adjustment is consistent with the 24 <br />Mounds View Personnel Manual. She advised that Officer Ben Knitter (School Resource 25 <br />Officer) is a current employee with the Mounds View Police Department. His supervisor, 26 <br />Interim Police Chief Tom Kinney, has reviewed his performance as it relates to his 27 <br />responsibilities outlined in the job description. Officer Knitter has satisfactorily performed in 28 <br />the capacity of his position, and therefore, a longevity wage adjustment is consistent with the 29 <br />LELS Police Officers Union Contract. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Assistant Clerk-Administrator Crane recommended approval of Resolution 7632, approving 32 <br />Community Development Director Robert’s step wage increase effective on June 16, 2010 and 33 <br />Officer Knitter’s longevity wage increase effective June 27, 2010. 34 <br /> 35 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7632, 36 <br />approving Community Development Director Robert’s step wage increase and Officer Knitter’s 37 <br />longevity wage increase. 38 <br /> 39 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 40 <br /> 41 <br />L.
