Resolution 7647, Approving the 2010 Mounds View Festival in the Park 23 <br />Agreement. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane stated the Mounds View Festival in the Park is scheduled for 26 <br />Saturday, August 21, 2010. For 2010, the City has budgeted $4,500 in support of the Festival in 27 <br />the Park, to pay for City personnel and equipment expenses. Last year, the City Council passed 28 <br />Resolution 7469, which authorized additional contributions from the City to the Festival to assist 29 <br />in payment of professional bands, port-a-potties, Irondale Marching Band, Car and Tractor Show, 30 <br />and Parade and Children Entertainment. This year the Festival Committee is not requesting any 31 <br />additional contributions from the City. The 2010 Festival in the Park Agreement was reviewed 32 <br />by the Festival Committee, and approved the agreement for execution at this City Council 33 <br />Meeting. Staff recommends approval of Resolution 7647, authorizing the execution of the 34 <br />agreement with the Festival in the Park of Mounds View for the August 21, 2010, Festival in the 35 <br />Park event. 36 <br /> 37 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull.
