<br />RESOLUTION NO. 7667 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing Certification of the Proposed General Fund Budget and <br />Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2011 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, current state statute requires cities to certify a proposed budget and tax <br />levy to the county auditor; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, guidelines established by the Commissioner of Revenue require <br />certification to occur on or before September 15, 2010; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Revenue has certified the amount of Local <br />Government Aid payable to the City in 2011. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the proposed budget for the General Fund for fiscal year 2011 is $5,565,298. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed 2011 base property tax levy is <br />$3,702,792 (General Fund $3,402,792 and Street Improvement Fund $300,000) and the <br />proposed 2011 special levies are $519,583 for a total net property tax levy of $4,222,375. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these amounts <br />to the Ramsey County Auditor. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 13th Day of September 2010. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />(ATTEST) <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jim Ericson, Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL)
