<br />Res. 7716 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council approves the following revision to Section 1.05 (Discipline Policy) of the Mounds <br />View Personnel Manual, as follows: <br /> <br />Disciplinary action for just cause may be handled as deemed appropriate by <br />the City. This policy does not apply to new probationary employees. New <br />probationary employees may be disciplined or terminated, at any time, for <br />any reason, which does not violate the law, subject to the rights of veterans. <br /> <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council approves the following revision to Section 1.05 (B)4 of the Mounds View Personnel <br />Manual, as follows: <br /> <br />The City Administrator, or the Department Head with the concurrence of <br />the City Administrator, may recommend termination of an employee. <br />Terminations shall be approved by the City Council.
