As such, Mounds View will continue working with the <br />State of Minnesota to construct additional noise walls to help mitigate noise impacts on residents. The <br />City expects the US Highway 10 traffic volumes to continue to increase as more development occurs <br />in the northern suburbs. Figure 21 on page 6-30 shows the locations of existing and future noise <br />walls. <br /> <br />Recent construction of multi-story buildings on the north side of the highway may have increased the <br />noise issues in the existing residential neighborhood along the south side of US Highway 10.
