January 5, 2009 Special City Council Meeting. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Council Member Mueller requested correction to Page 3, Line 30, to change “kidnapped” to 9 <br />“kidnapping.” She referenced Page 5, Line 20, and questioned the correct cutoff date for the Sun 10 <br />Focus, noting the minutes indicate Thursday following the Monday Council meeting but she 11 <br />believes it is actually Tuesday for legal notices and may be Monday for other articles. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Clerk-Administrator Ericson stated staff will check the meeting tape to determine whether the 14 <br />minutes correctly reflect her statement. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Mueller stated on Page 6, Lines 3 and 4 should indicate that Mayor Flaherty is 17 <br />the I-35W Corridor Member and Council Member Gunn the Alternate. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. Reports of Mayor and Council. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Mayor Flaherty announced that a group of concerned citizens would hold a meeting about the 29 <br />Anoka County Blaine airport at the Mounds View Community Center on January 29, 2009, from 30 <br />7-9 p.m. This meeting was not organized or called by the City. It will be an informational 31 <br />meeting on the possible increase of a runway at the Anoka County Blaine airport runway from 32 <br />5,000 to 6,000 feet. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Mayor Flaherty announced the Met Council action to construct several new Park and Rides in 35 <br />2009 through an urban partnership agreement. One will be in Roseville at I-35W and County 36 <br />Road C and another in Blaine at I-35W and 95th Avenue. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Council Member Mueller reported on the Ramsey County League of Local Government meeting 39 <br />held last week and the debate that occurred on proposed cuts that Governor Pawlenty mentioned 40 <br />in his State of the State address. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Council Member Mueller announced the Minnesota League of Cities Ethics Advisory Panel will 43 <br />meet this week to discuss the Ethics Code of Conduct for elected officials. 44 <br /> 45
