Mounds View City Council February 9, 2009 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Mr. Rhein presented the schedule for agency review, noting it allows for final Council 1 <br />consideration on April 27, 2009 and the deadline for completing the Comprehensive Plan is May 2 <br />1, 2009, which should be met with this schedule. He advised the draft resolution would grant 3 <br />preliminary approval of the draft LSWMP and authorize distribution to the Met Council and 4 <br />other agencies as required by State Statute. 5 <br /> 6 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7408, 7 <br />Granting Preliminary Approval to Draft the Local Surface Water Management Plan and 8 <br />Authorizing Distribution to Review Agencies. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Mueller asked if staff had been working hand-in-hand with the Met Council so 11 <br />there is assurance the LSWMP will be approved. Mr. Rhein clarified that the Met Council will 12 <br />receive a copy but the Rice Creek Watershed District is the approval agency for the LSWMP and 13 <br />staff has have been in contact with them. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br />C.
