Past recipients of this award include: <br /> <br />2004: David Jahnke <br /> <br />2005: Frank Silvis <br /> <br />2006: Ed Lanz <br /> <br />2007: Don Hodges <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />Staff has already started the nomination process for the 2008 Citizenship Award. The <br />City of Mounds View Citizenship Award recognizes a Mounds View resident who <br />represents the energetic, courageous, persistent and informed involvement of an <br />ordinary citizen in the issues and the challenges that affect the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Nominations are open to the public and the award is subject to the following guidelines <br />below: <br /> <br />Eligibility: <br /> <br />Nominees must be: <br />• A Mounds View resident, business owner or land owners. <br />• Recent elected officials, City employees, City contractors, or political candidates <br />are not eligible. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
