Reports of Mayor and Council. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Flaherty read an announcement for National Police Week, May 10, 2009, in honor of 39 <br />fallen Police Officers and advised of activities that would occur. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Mayor Flaherty advised that residents Jonathan Smith and Brent Fyksen received a Police Chief 42 <br />commendation for providing assistance to an officer in making an arrest. Mayor Flaherty asked 43 <br />staff to invite them to a Council meeting to receive public recognition. 44 <br /> 45
