RESOLUTION NO. 7474 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Authorizing a Ground Space Lease with TTM Operating Corporation <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enhance telecommunications within the Mounds <br />View area and work cooperatively with TTM Operating Corporation by leasing ground space; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this will utilize unused space within a cabinet that has been abandoned by a <br />former telecommunications provider; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this will also enhance revenue to the City by providing $250 per month for <br />approximately 16 square feet of ground space for an initial lease period of three (3) years and <br />the option of four (4) additional three (3) year periods with an annual inflator of four (4) percent; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TTM Operating Corporation will pay the City $2,000 upfront for legal and <br />staff costs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TTM Operating Corporation will pay $2,000 for each additional connection <br />to other telecommunications providers. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />the Mayor and the City Clerk-Administrator are hereby authorized to sign the ground space <br />lease with TTM Operating Corporation pending satisfactory legal review. <br /> <br />Said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 22nd day of June, <br />2009. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> __________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />__________________________ <br />Jim Ericson, City Clerk-Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />
