<br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 809 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A PARTIAL VACATION OF A 17.5 FOOT <br />SURFACE WATER EASEMENT ON GREENFIELD ESTATES PROPERTY, <br />LOCATED AT 7521-7661 GREENFIELD AVENUE AND 2370 COUNTY ROAD I <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View was granted a surface water easement in 1951 <br />along the properties associated with Greenfield Estates Apartments, located at 7521-7661 <br />Greenfield Avenue and 2370 County Road I; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tycon Companies has submitted an application to vacate part of the <br />surface water easement on the following legally described parcels: <br /> <br />Except the East 99.41 feet of Lot 2, All of Lot 1, Block 1 <br />Nordling Terrace, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Lots 14 and 15, Block 1 <br />Nordling Terrace, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Lots 16 and 17, Block 1 <br />Nordling Terrace, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Lots 18 and 19, Block 1 <br />Nordling Terrace, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the easement area to be vacated from Greenfield Estates is legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />The East 17.5 feet of the South 955.0 feet of the following described property: except <br />the North 33 feet for County Road I, the East one-half of the West one-half of the <br />Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, <br /> <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City of Mounds View Municipal Code Appendix D is hereby amended to <br />include reference to the following Special Ordinance No. 809. <br /> <br /> Subd. 1. The City has made a determination that the drainage and utility easement <br />area as described herein and illustrated on Exhibit A does not serve a public purpose, and <br />as such, it is in the public interest to vacate said easement area. <br /> <br />
