RESOLUTION NO. 7494 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing Certification of the Proposed General Fund Budget and <br />Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2010 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, current state statute requires cities to certify a proposed budget and tax <br />levy to the county auditor; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, guidelines established by the Commissioner of Revenue require <br />certification to occur on or before September 15, 2009; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Revenue has certified the amount of Local <br />Government Aid payable in 2010. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the proposed budget for the General Fund for fiscal year 2010 is $5,682,963. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed 2010 base property tax levy is <br />$3,550,519 (General Fund $3,250,519 and Street Improvement Fund $300,000) and the <br />proposed 2010 special levies are $586,868 for a total net property tax levy of $4,137,387. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these amounts <br />to the Ramsey County Auditor. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 14th Day of September 2009. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br />(ATTEST) <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jim Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL)
