<br />Item No: 8D <br />Meeting Date: September 14, 2009 <br />Type of Business: Consent <br />Administrator Review : ____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: James Ericson, Clerk - Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 7498, a Resolution Accepting the Donation of a <br />Digital Camera for the Event Center at the Mounds View <br />Community Center <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />A resident became aware that the event center coordinator at the Mounds View <br />Community Center did not have ready access to a digital camera for use in documenting <br />events at the MVCC. <br /> <br />Believing that the event center coordinator SHOULD have a digital camera available for <br />use in documenting such events, the resident purchased a Nikon brand digital camera, <br />memory card and batteries and donated these items to the City for use by the event center <br />coordinator. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The City Council needs to formally accept such a donation and accordingly staff prepared <br />the attached Resolution 7498 which acknowledges receipt and acceptance of the items <br />noted. <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />________________________ <br />James Ericson <br />Clerk - Administrator <br /> <br />
