To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7498, 1 <br />Accepting a Donation of a Nikon Digital Camera and Digital Media Memory Card. 2 <br /> 3 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 4 <br /> 5 <br />E. Resolution 7492, Authorizing the Mounds View Police Department to Enter 6 <br />into a Grant Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, 7 <br />Office of Traffic Safety for the Safe and Sober Project from October 1, 2009, 8 <br />through September 30, 2010. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Mueller stated her appreciation to Police Chief Sommer for writing and 11 <br />submitting this grant application to provide additional patrol, which involved a $24,000 grant. 12 <br /> 13 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7492, 14 <br />Authorizing the Mounds View Police Department to Enter into a Grant Agreement with the 15 <br />Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety for the Safe and Sober Project 16 <br />from October 1, 2009, through September 30, 2010. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Mayor Flaherty added his appreciation and thanked Police Chief Sommer. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 21 <br /> 22 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Flaherty referenced Page 1, a seminar paid from the General Fund. Clerk-Administrator 25 <br />Ericson stated it involved an input error and seminar was attendance by several staff members. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Mayor Flaherty referenced Page 3, Joint Powers Agreement for Forester, noting it is the last 28 <br />payment of the year. Clerk-Administrator Ericson advised the City of New Brighton intends to 29 <br />fill this position late in the first quarter or second quarter of 2010. 30 <br /> 31 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as Presented. 32 <br /> 33 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 34 <br /> 35 <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 36 <br />A.
