This Charter Resolution revises Section 7.05 of <br />the Mounds View City Charter, to require the Five-Year Financial Plan to be adopted by <br />Resolution instead of Ordinance. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />In the past, the Five-Year Financial Plan was adopted by Ordinance. The new Charter <br />language in Section 7.05 will now require the Five-year Financial plan to be adopted by <br />Resolution. According to Charter Resolution 2009-05a, the Five-Year Financial Plan will <br />continue to require notification and hold public hearings in the same manner as required for <br />ordinance adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends the City Council to approve the First Reading and Introduction of <br />Ordinance 839.
