Mounds View City Council January 14, 2008 <br />Regular Meeting Page 13 <br /> <br />Interim Administrator Ericson requested Council consider setting a joint meeting with the 1 <br />Charter Commission to discuss a variety of issues. Staff has scheduled this for the February 4, 2 <br />2008 work session. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson suggested that the requirement to identify yourself by full name 5 <br />and address for minors speaking before the Council be waived. The Council agreed. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson emergency management closed session should be scheduled 8 <br />annually and it is time to do that. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Council Member Mueller suggested scheduling it for March so that the new City Administrator 11 <br />could attend. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that Staff is working on an update on 2007 strategic 14 <br />goals for Council at an upcoming meeting. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson Ramsey County League of Local Governments is hosting an event 17 <br />at the North Oaks Golf Club. Anyone interested in attending should contact Staff for registration 18 <br />information. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that a March date for team building should be 21 <br />considered if this needs to be done by the April town hall meeting. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council agreed to set March 14 and 15 for the team building meeting. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson Metropolitan Council State of the Region Event held at the new 26 <br />library downtown Minneapolis. This is a free event, which includes a tour of the new library. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson reported that the North Metro Mayor’s Association is sponsoring a 29 <br />discussion on transportation issues for the region. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that an individual representing an entity has asked about 32 <br />renting an office with three desks at the Community Center. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Council Member Mueller said that in 2008 the City will have a two day Festival in the Park. The 35 <br />Festival Committee will also be preparing a cookbook. She then asked residents to submit 36 <br />recipes for the cookbook. 37 <br /> 38 <br />C.
