Are scheduled and budgeted for re- <br />finishing. <br /> <br />Contractors have been in to view the areas and the consensus is that a scuff <br />sand and coating of the dance floor 1600 sq. ft. would cost $2,000.00. <br /> <br />The floor has not been refinished since the building was opened and is in dire <br />need of re-finishing. <br />The scuff sand and recoat will not be enough to refinish this floor and flatten it. <br /> <br />To do it right the floor should be sanded and flattened, there are lots of deep <br />scratches in it that can be sanded out. I was told that this is the original dance <br />floor from the Bel-Rae. <br /> <br />If the plan is to keep the Event Center/Banquet area on line the total sand and <br />refinish would be advisable. This would run approximately $5,500.00 and have a <br />more durable surface when done. <br /> <br />The gym floor was refinished with a scuff sand and urethane coat in July of 2003, <br />it is recommended that a floor of this style be refinished every 3 to 4 years to <br />keep it in good and durable condition. <br /> <br />The average price for the gym floor was: $1.00 per sq. ft. @ 10,000 sq. ft.= <br />$10,000.00
