RESOLUTION 7244 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE CONTRACT AWARD FOR CLEANING SERVICES FOR CITY <br />HALL / POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE MOUNDS VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City currently has a cleaning contract cleaning services for the <br />City Hall offices and Police Department and the Mounds View Community Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Hall building will need to be cleaned on an everyday basis; <br />and the Mounds View Community Center will need to be cleaned on Friday and <br />Saturday evenings after the building closes, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Six (6) cleaning companies submitted quotes to provide cleaning <br />services for the City Hall offices and the Police Department and the Mounds View <br />Community Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the lowest quote was from CleanTech in the monthly amount of <br />$1635.00. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. A cleaning contract with CleanTech to provide cleaning services for the City <br />Hall building and Mounds View Community Center in the amount of $1635.00 <br />per month is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. Staff to cancel the existing cleaning service contracts for the City Hall building <br />and Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />3. The Mayor and Interim Administrator are hereby authorized to execute said <br />cleaning services contract. <br /> <br />4. That said approval and authorization to execute is contingent upon the <br />approval of the City’s Legal Counsel to do such. <br /> <br />5. The funds to administer this contract are to be derived from the Buildings and <br />Grounds Department of the General Fund (Account No. 100-4460-3030) and <br />Mounds View Community Center - Building and Grounds account, 252-4350- <br />5110. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 24th day of March 2008. <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />(Seal) ________________________________ <br /> James Ericson, Interim City Administrator
