RESOLUTION 7263 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE CODE <br />VIOLATIONS AT 8425 SPRING LAKE ROAD, MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA, 55112. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brady S. Newman is the owner of property located at 8425 Spring Lake <br />Road, zoned R-1, Single Family Residential, legally described as follows: <br /> <br />AUDITOR’S SUBDIVISION NO. 89 (MV) S 115FT OF N 300 FT OF W 234.1 FT OF LOT 38 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 3, 2007, staff inspected the property located at 8425 Spring Lake <br />Road in response to a complaint regarding outside storage of inoperable vehicles outside and <br />observed exterior storage of vehicles and automotive parts in violation of city code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a notice of violation was issued to Mr. Newman dated July 3, 2007, <br />regarding exterior storage and accumulation of abandoned, junk, inoperable vehicles stored <br />outdoors and vehicles parked off an improved surface at 8425 Spring Lake Road, staff requested <br />corrective actions completed to bring the property into compliance with the Nuisance Code by <br />July 17, 2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 11, 2007 staff performed a follow up inspection of the property <br />located at 8425 Spring Lake Road and observed continued Nuisance Code violations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 11, 2007 staff issued a Ramsey County Court Citation to Brady <br />Newman for violation of Section 607.07 Subdivision 2 of the Nuisance Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff performed a reinspection of the property on December 4, 2007 and <br />observed continued Nuisance Code violations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS on December 4, 2007 staff issued a second Ramsey County Court Citation to <br />Brady Newman for continued violation of Section 607.07 Subdivision 2 of the Nuisance Code; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Newman failed to appear in Ramsey County District Court on March <br />25, 2008 to answer to the violations cited; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 23, 2008 staff reinspected the property located at 8425 Spring lake <br />Road and zero evidence of completion of corrective actions, photographs of the exterior were <br />obtained at that time; and <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
