RESOLUTION 7299 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A LETTER AGREEMENT WITH BONESTROO FOR THE <br />PREPARATION OF A LOCAL SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View is currently updating its Comprehensive <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, an approved Local Surface Water Management Plan <br />(LSWMP) is required for the approval of the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View currently has a draft LSWMP from 2002 <br />that is not sufficient for the purpose necessary for the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, occurrences related to surface water since 2002 make <br />it most appropriate that a new LSWMP be prepared; and <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo is the consulting engineer currently working <br />with the City on the development of the Street and Utility Improvement Program <br />and the associated raingarden program; and <br />WHEREAS, City Staff requested Bonestroo to provide a written <br />proposal for the preparation of a LSWMP; and <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo provided a written proposal in the form of a <br />Letter Agreement dated June 19, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, the aspects of the proposal including scope, schedule <br />and cost for the LSWMP are acceptable. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1.The services of the engineering firm of Bonestroo shall be retained <br />for the purpose of preparing a Local Surface Water Management <br />Plan for the City of Mounds View. <br />2.The Letter Agreement submitted by Bonestroo dated June 19, 2008 <br />is hereby approved. <br />3.The costs for Tasks 1 – 6 of the work shall be a fixed amount of <br />$14,120.
