RESOLUTION 7322 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLTUION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church has generously supported activities that <br />have benefited the residents of Mounds View; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church would like to continue that support by <br />making a contribution to the City of Mounds View of $16,236.50 to support the following <br />below: <br /> <br />1. $3,530.50 to support the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf <br />2. $10,000 to the Mounds View Park and Recreation Department for ongoing <br />park improvement projects at Silver View Park; <br />3. $2,706.00 to the EDA fund for activities that support the economic climate <br />of the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation of $16,236.50 from Bethlehem <br />Baptist Church and amends the 2008 Budget accordingly. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 25th day of August, 2008 <br /> <br /> _____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ____________________________________ <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(seal)
