Resolution 7335 <br />Page 1 <br />RESOLUTION 7335 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR A MNDOT COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />PROJECT AT THE INTERSECTION OF <br />COUNTY HIGHWAY 10 AND COUNTY ROAD H <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has identified the need for <br />improvements to the intersection of County Highway 10 and County Road H; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed improvements to the intersection include <br />a new traffic signal; reconstruction of the intersection including designated left <br />turn lanes on County Road H, and advanced signal flashers for traffic exiting <br />I-35W; and <br />WHEREAS, the project will address the traffic safety and operation <br />of traffic on County Highway 10 which serves as the west leg of the I-35W <br />interchange; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is requesting the financial <br />participation of the Minnesota Department of Transportation through the <br />Municipal Agreement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is committed to providing the <br />local share of the costs if the project is selected for inclusion in the Fiscal Year <br />2010 Municipal Agreement Program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota that the Minnesota Department <br />of Transportation consider a proposal to replace the signal system and construct <br />roadway improvements at the intersection of County Highway 10 and County <br />Road H in the 2009 Cooperative Agreement program. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of September 2008. <br />____________________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor
