Reports of Mayor and Council 30 <br /> 31 <br />Mayor Marty noted that he and Mr. Ericson met with Representative McCollum and others 32 <br />regarding the intersection of I- 35W and County Road H at Arden Hill City Hall.. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Mayor Marty indicated he would like to have Mr. Ericson and Ms. Crane meet to discuss salary 35 <br />and incentives with Event Coordinator Matt Baumann to ensure that the City does not lose him 36 <br />as he has done a great job with the community center. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Marty said that he was approached by citizens for contracting out for police services and, 39 <br />when the council met with Spring Lake Park, their Council asked about any interest in merging 40 <br />police forces. Since then, he has discussed this with Staff and there is the potential to save 41 <br />$1,000,000 per year by contracting for police services with Ramsey County Sherriff’s 42 <br />Department for police services. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Mayor Marty noted that Festival in the Park is this weekend. 45
