The Chevy Blazer was painted this week, looks brand new. <br /> Tim R. <br /> ( FINANCED <br /> Kitty Hickok-and-I went to see a demonstration of a fixedasset - - <br /> software system that Tautges and Redpath, our auditor's, are <br /> developing. The system has a lot of desirable features. We will <br /> look at it again when it is completed. The 1994 budget provides for <br /> a new fixed asset system as our present one does not allow us to <br /> produce reports needed for our comprehensive annual financial <br /> statements. <br /> Mike Ulrich and I continue to meet with Steve Campbell of SEH to <br /> straighten out the MSA Project Fund. Outstanding amounts of MSA <br /> maintenance monies due us from 1989, 1990 and 1991 have been <br /> credited to our construction allotment. <br /> At the request of the auditors their arrival here to conduct field work <br /> for the 1993 audit has been delayed one week. They are now <br /> scheduled to begin on March 28. <br /> . I have been surveying metro area cities trying to learn if any have <br /> financial advisory boards, and if so, how they are organized, their <br /> duties, etc. Preliminary results indicate that only a very few cities <br /> have financial advisory boards. Will put together survey results and <br /> rough draft of an ordinance establishing a financial advisory board <br /> for the April Work Session. <br /> The County has mailed property tax statements. The only call that I <br /> am aware of was regarding the County's Waste Management Fee <br /> by a new resident. <br /> Received $666,396.86 of MSA funds from the State for the Long <br /> Lake Road project recently. Too bad we have to pay all of it to the <br />
