RESOLUTION # <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION STATING GUIDELINES FOR NAMING PARKS AND PARK <br />AMENITIES. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View parks and amenities <br />therein are presently named for their location with the <br />intention of easily locating and identifying each park <br />with their neighborhoods, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission prefers to <br />keep the naming of parks and park amenities out of the <br />realm of politics with all the controversy and hard <br />feelings that may result, and; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council <br />of the City of Mounds View, with recommendatiop of the <br />Parks and Recreation Commission hereby adopts the <br />policy that parks and park amenities are to be named <br />for their location, identifying with the neighborhbod <br />in which it is located. <br />Adopted this 11 day of April, 1994. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
