Sec. 2-115. Removal. <br />Any member of the financial policy advisory board may be removed from office by a four -fifths vote of the <br />City Council. (Ord. No. 491, § 1, 3-23-82) <br />Sec. 2-116. Filling vacancies. <br />Vacancies occurring in the membership of the financial policy advisory board shall be filled by the Council for <br />the unexpired portion of the term. (Ord.. No. 491, § 1, 3-23-82) <br />Sec. 2-117. Compensation. <br />The members of the financial policy advisory board shall serve without compensation. (Ord. No 491, § 1, 3- <br />23-82) <br />Sec. 2-118. Council representation. <br />The Council may appoint one of its members as an ex officio member of the board for a term of one year. <br />This member will have full rights of discussion, but will not be a voting member of the board. The Council may <br />also, at its discretion, appoint other ex officio members. (Ord. No. 491, § 1, 3-23-82) <br />Sec. 2-119. Task forces. <br />The Council or financial policy advisory board may, from time to time, appoint a task force to study and <br />report on specific financially related matters. After reporting its findings to the Council, such a task force shall <br />terminate, unless continued by the Council or the board for a specific purpose. (Ord No. 491, § 1, 3-23-82) <br />Sec. 2-120. Organization. <br />The board shall elect a chairperson from among its appointed members for a one-year term and may create and <br />fill such other offices as it may determine. The board shall hold at least one regular meeting each month. It shall <br />adopt rules for the transaction of business and shall keep a record of its resolutions, transactions and findings, <br />which shall be a public record. (Ord No. 491, § 1, 3-23-82) <br />DIVISION 6. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />Sec. 2-121. Short title. <br />This division shall be known and may be cited as the "New Brighton Economic Development Commission <br />Ordinance." (Ord. No. 546, § 1,12-23-86) <br />Sec. 2-122. Definitions. <br />For the purpose of this division, the following words and their derivation shall have the meanings as set out <br />herein <br />(a) Commission is the economic development commission of the City as created by this division. <br />(b) Chairperson is the chairperson of the economic development commission as provided hereunder. <br />(c) Vice -chairperson is the vice -chairperson of the economic development commission as provided <br />hereunder. <br />16 <br />
