acres. This is a blend which Parks and Recreation professionals strive to provide for
the interests of all people.
Mary S.
FINANCE
The auditors are still here! Things are going well. They should finish up their
field work this week.
Finally-got the budget-book to the printer this week. It's-good to have it
printed and distributed before we start on next years.
Carla is leaving the City with more than staff's best wishes for success in her
new position at Falcon Heights. She's leaving with staff's money too! She
won the basketball pool!
Don B.
POLICE
1. Two brand new Chevy squad cars arrived last Thursday. The
Maintenance Department will begin the conversion process in the near
future
2. Larry Siluk is on vacation this week. Kathy Bednar was gone on Monday and
Tuesday.
3. The Chief has sold exactly one ticket for the basketball game
being held on April 15. Over the weekend and all next week he will be
putting the hard sell on so watch out.
4. The Chief and Lt. met with Tony Jambor this week regarding up-
coming events at the Bel-Rae.
5. This weekend we arrested a person for D.U.I. This was his fifth
violation of this offense. A new law (1993) allows us to begin
forfeiture on the vehicle he was driving. The vehicle (84 Van) is
a little dumpy, but we are going to try the process anyhow. More
details later.
Tim R.
