In turn,officer Koop- <br /> einens did not back away from his duty. With great personal risk <br /> Officer Koopmeninens did his duty. This duty was done with great <br /> physical risk and possible political pressure from the teamsters. <br /> I have been a law enforcement officer for 15 years and have held <br /> the position of Chief in a local department. I would have been <br /> proud and happy to have an officer of Mr. Koopmeinens caliber, in <br /> my department. I want to take this time to thank officer Koop- <br /> meinens and to thank your department for their help. <br /> Please give a copy of this letter to officer Koopmeinens and please <br /> commend him for his work.
