1111VIS
REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION Agenda Section: 5.
STAFF REPORT Report Number: 94-1143WS
P AGENDA SESSION DATE May 2, 1994 Report Date: 4-28-94
•
DISPOSITION
Item Description: Discussion Regarding Surface Water Management Provisions
Administrator's Review/Recommendation:
- No comments to supplement this report
- Comments attached.
Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.)
SUMMARY;
When the Surface Water Management Plan was adopted, I believe it was
mentioned that if the Council adopted various ordinances relating to
that plan, the City would become the authority with regards to wetland
and surface water issues. This topic was briefly discussed at the
Strategic Planning weekend. Staff has invited Rocky Keehne from SEH to
attend this Work Session so that he may provide Council with the'
necessary information regarding these ordinances. The adoption of each
ordinance would greatly reduce costs and time delays in many maintenance
areas.
/1/1/74-4/ 4,1e/
Mike Ulrich, Public Works Director
•
RECOMMENDATION;
