auditors will present their management report at the June 6, 1994 Agenda
Session.
Don
POLICE
1. You may of heard that a little girl. was hit by a car near Oakwood
Park last Thursday. At this time, her condition is getting better and
- she is expected to recover.
2. Two officers (Johnson & Koopmeiners) attended a "Narcotics for
Street Officers" Training seminar.
3. One of two new squads is "in service". The other is expected to be
on the road today. We (Pitts & Baumgart) will be taking the old
squads and converting them to a CSO vehicle and an unmarked.
4. The Chief was off Monday & Tuesday of this week chasing the wiley
Walleye. Also on a personal note, son Robb signed a letter of intent
to attend Purdue University.
5. Our computer was down most of the weekend and on Monday. Repairs
were made and its working fine at this moment.
Tim R.
PUBLIC WORKS
* Tim Pittman and Tom Baumgart continue to work on setting up the new squad
car. The first one was put into service last week.
Some new lights and additional features were utilized in these units, and they
have been very well received. We don't know how well Tom is going to adjust
to going back on patrol though. The Public Works atmosphere that he has
been in will obviously benefit him.
