COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT
CODE ENFORCEMENT CALLS
Staff has been receiving a very high number of code enforcement calls within the past
month in response to the article on nuisance abatement which appeared in the City
Newsletter. Because of the large volume of calls, Staff has had to begin devoting
Friday's full-time to code enforcement activities. The system seems to be working
o.k. and, the residents are satisfied with their concerns being addressed within a
week, however, Staff will be extremely happy when the Code Enforcement
Officer/Planning Associate is on-board.
WOLF AND ASSOCIATES POTENTIAL EXPANSION
City Staff met with representatives of Wolf and Associates to discuss their preliminary
plans for an expansion of their facilities on Mustang Circle in the Industrial Park. The
plan calls for an expansion of the fabricating and shipping areas of the facility in order
to make the entire operation more efficient. Staff was given a tour of the existing
facility and had a chance to discuss some concerns that had been raised by the
residents of Townsedge Terrace regarding the operation of the facility. Wolf and
Associates seemed eager to not only begin the process of City review of the project
but, also, to address those concerns of the manufactured home park.
Paul H.
