JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> Position Title : Seasonal Golf Course Groundskeepers <br /> Department : Parks, Recreation & Forestry <br /> Division: Golf Course Operations <br /> Position Accountable to: Golf Course Superintendent <br /> Date : June, 1994 <br /> GENERAL ACTIVITIES <br /> - Duties would include heavy and light weight equipment operation <br /> in addition to equipment maintenance, parts ordering, <br /> fertilization, chemical applications, irrigation, mowing and <br /> general course maintenance . Equipment maintenance, shop work, <br /> mower sharpening, equipment reconditioning, and painting would be <br /> other duties performed. <br /> In addition, mowing, hand mowing, weed whipping, bunker raking, <br /> small project assignments and general course beautification would <br /> be included in daily job tasks . Changing cups, moving tee <br /> markers, trash, ball marker and divot repair, practice range ball <br /> pick-up etc . would also be required. <br /> PERFORMANCE STANDARDS : <br /> - All groundskeepers must operate all course machinery or carts <br /> in a safe and cautious manner especially around customers . <br /> - Employees need to perform all work designated by <br /> Superintendent or person in charge within reasonable period of <br /> time . <br /> - Employees must follow all safety precautions . <br /> - Those with greater experience and qualifications will be paid <br /> at a higher rate than those with minimal experience or <br /> qualifications . <br />
