Request for Conditional Use Permit February 7,1994
Michael Hegland
7604 Spring Lake Road
Mounds View, MN. 55112
I am requesting this conditional use permit to allow me to use my existing garage as a
storage building after the construction of a new attached garage to my house. My plan is to
construct a new 780 square foot attached garage as shown on the attached drawings. After
completing the new garage I will remove my existing 90 square foot storage shed and relocate
my existing 528 square foot garage as shown on the drawings.
I need to maximize my storage capacity to enable me to store my boat and collector car
as well as all lawn equipment I have. Due to the dimensions of my lot and the layout of my house
on the lot, it is impractical for to build a garage to the maximum allowable square footage of
825 square feet. Using my existing garage as a storage building would minimize my construction
costs and provide me with the additional storage space I need.
