a higher reimbursement of programming monies from the Cable TV <br /> Franchise to employ a full Cable Technician. <br /> Recreation Revenue Resource: <br /> It is also the specific goal of the Parks and Recreation Commission to <br /> pursue the investigation of a possible revenue producing recreation facility <br /> for the City of Mounds View -- to provide an alternate funding source for <br /> now and in the future for recreation and parks operations in the City of <br /> Mounds View. <br /> Provide Resource Information and Coordination of Social Services: <br /> The Department has experienced increased demand and requests for <br /> social services including senior citizen programming, at-risk youth <br /> programming, developmental programming for preschoolers, community <br /> service activities for high school students, restitution activities for youth, <br /> adaptive programs for those with disabilities, funding assistance for those <br /> in need, etc. It is the goal of the Department to assist in the facilitation or <br /> coordination of resources to provide assistance for the above causes. <br /> However, the staff time and funding for accomplishment of these social <br /> demands will impact the success of this goal. <br /> Five Year Goals - Looking to the Near Future and Beyond: <br /> This is a short synopsis of goals for the next few years and perhaps <br /> beyond.
