REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION oNumber ;; P.m. <br /> Agenda Secti7, 7: <br /> ��v'l�i� <br /> STAFF REPORT _ Report Date: 6-24-93 <br /> § Council Action: <br /> ❑ Special Order of Business <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE June 28, 1993 tl Public Hearings <br /> ❑ Consent Agenda <br /> ❑ Council Business <br /> Item Description: Consideration of Request for Conditonal Use Permit (Oversized Garage) at <br /> 7312 Park View Drive, Planning Case No. 364-93 <br /> Administrator's Review/Recommendation: (r- <br /> - <br /> No comments to supplement this report <br /> - Comments attached. <br /> Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.) <br /> UMMARY; <br /> Gerald Setterholm, 7312 Park View Drive, has made application for a <br /> Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction of an addition to an <br /> existing garage which will bring the total square footage of the structure <br /> to a number which exceeds the maximum allowable square footage (864 sq. <br /> ft. ) as specified in Chapter 40. 10 Subdivision C (1) c, of the Mounds View <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> Chapter 40: 10 Subdivision D (6) allows for garages in excess of 864 square <br /> feet, but not exceeding 1, 264 square feet, with the issuance of a <br /> Conditional Use Permit. The applicant's request, if granted, would allow <br /> the construction of a 16'x 24' (384 square feet) addition to an existing <br /> 24'x 26' (624 square feet) garage for a total of 1. 008 square feet. <br /> Because the total square footage of the garage and addition exceeds 1, 000 <br /> square feet, no additional accessory structures would be allowed on the <br /> property per Chapter 40. 10 Subdivision D (6) c. The request, as proposed, <br /> meets all other applicable requirements set forth in Chapter 40 of the <br /> Municipal Code including, but not limited to, height, area and setbacks. <br /> The Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed this request and <br /> recommended approval in resolution no. 360-93 (copy attached) . <br /> All materials submitted as part of the application have been included for <br /> your review.
