Mounds View City Council Page Two <br /> Regular Meeting August 9, 1993 <br /> RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR S <br /> There were no resident requests or comments at this meeting. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, read the Consent Agenda. Orduno asked <br /> that a license, Northern Asphalt, Inc. , which is a new license, be added for <br /> approval to the Consent Agenda. <br /> Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired removed from <br /> the Consent Agenda. There were no items removed. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Quick to adopt the Consent Agenda as amended. <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> a. Consideration of Revocation of Conditional Use Permit at 3030 County <br /> Road J - Mayor Linke opened the public hearing at 7 : 05 p.m. Paul <br /> Harrington, City Planner, stated that he had contacted the City <br /> Attorney to request his attendance at the Council Meeting, however, <br /> City Attorney was unable to attend and, therefore, Harrington asked <br /> that this item be tabled to the next regularly scheduled Council 40 <br /> Meeting which is September 23 , 1993 . <br /> Mayor Linke polled the Council and stated that this public hearing <br /> would be continued to the August 23 , 1993 , regular Council Meeting. <br /> b. Consideration of Variance Request (parking reduction) at 2840 Highway <br /> Simon T. Simon - Mayor Linke opened the public hearing at 7 : 06 p.m. <br /> Paul Harrington, City Planner, explained that the final parking plan <br /> for the property at 2840 Highway 10 was not ready for consideration at <br /> this evening's meeting. Mr. Harrington recommended that, in order to <br /> allow for adequate review of the proposed parking configuration on the <br /> parcel, this item be tabled to the August 23 , 1993 , regular Council <br /> Meeting. <br /> Mayor Linke polled the Council and stated that this public hearing <br /> would be continued to the August 23 , 1993 , regular Council Meeting. <br /> c. Consideration of 1993 Long Term Financial Plan - Mayor Linke opened the <br /> public hearing at 7: 07 p.m. Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, <br /> explained that the Long Term Financial Plan is a blueprint for the <br /> future plans for the City giving estimates of programming, services and <br /> staff needs for the next five years. The development of the Long Term <br /> Financial Plan is a long process which begun in April of this year. <br /> Staff makes many drafts before the final draft is accomplished. There <br /> were four drafts drawn up this year. One fact that became crystal <br /> clear is that at some point in the near future monies which fund to <br />
