EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE411 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br /> HELD: April 12 , 1993 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular or <br /> special meeting of the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said <br /> City on the 12th day of April, 1993, beginning at o'clock <br /> _.M. for the purpose in part of authorizing the competitive <br /> negotiated sale of the $720, 000 General Obligation Tax Increment <br /> Refunding Bonds, Series 1993B, of said City. <br /> The following Councilmembers were present: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Councilmember introduced the following <br /> resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION 4359 <br /> RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR <br /> THE COMPETITIVE NEGOTIATED <br /> SALE OF $720, 000 <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION TAX INCREMENT REFUNDING BONDS, <br /> SERIES 1993B <br /> A. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Minnesota, has heretofore determined that it is necessary <br /> and expedient to issue the City's $720, 000 General Obligation Tax <br /> Increment Refunding Bonds, Series 1993B (the "Bonds") , to refund <br /> in advance of maturity the 1998 through 2005 maturities of the <br /> City's General Obligation Tax Increment Bonds, Series 1989B, <br /> dated November 1, 1989 ; and <br /> B. WHEREAS, the City has retained Springsted <br /> Incorporated, in Saint Paul, Minnesota ("Springsted") , as its <br /> independent financial advisor for the Bonds and is therefore <br /> authorized to sell the Bonds by a competitive negotiated sale in <br /> accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.60, Subdivision <br /> 2 (9) : <br /> • <br /> 236783 <br />
