ITEM 5.A <br /> • <br /> THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> OFFICE OF THE MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> WHEREAS, Bob Nelson was hired as a Patrol <br /> Officer with the City of Mounds View on May 1 , 1985; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Bob Nelson became affiliated with the <br /> D.A.R.E. Program and became the City's D.A.R.E. officer <br /> working with the Pinewood School students in 1990; and <br /> WHEREAS, "Officer Bob" has earned great respect, <br /> affection, and admiration among the students, parents <br /> and staff of Pinewood School as well as with the entire <br /> • community; and <br /> WHEREAS, "Officer Bob" has gone far above and <br /> beyond what might be expected of a D.A.R.E. officer; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View would like to <br /> thank "Officer Bob" in a very special way. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jerry Linke, Mayor of the City <br /> of Mounds View, do hereby proclaim, Friday, May 28, <br /> 1993 as "Officer Bob Day" in the City of Mounds View. <br /> • Jerry Linke, Mayor <br />
