Bennett, 8303 Knollwood Drive, Planning Case No. 355-92 <br /> Administrator's Review/Recommendation: <br /> - No comments to supplement this report <br /> - Comments attached. <br /> Explanation/Summary (attach supplement s as necessary.) <br /> SUMMARY; <br /> Randy Bennett, 8308 Knollwood Drive, has made application for a Conditional <br /> Use Permit to allow the construction of an addition to an existing garage. <br /> Currently, the applicant has a 660 square foot garage on his property. The <br /> addition would add 336 square feet for a total garage area of 996 square <br /> feet. This total exceeds the maximum allowable square footage(864 sq. ft. ) <br /> as specified in Chapter 40. 10 Subdivision C (1) c, of the Mounds View <br /> municipal Code. <br /> Chapter 40. 10 Subdivision D (6) allows for garages in excess of 864 square <br /> feet, but not exceeding '1264 square feet, with the issuance of a <br /> conditional use permit. Upon review, City staff has found that the request <br /> meets all conditions of Chapter 40. 10 Subdivision D (6) as well as all <br /> other applicable requirements set forth in Chapter 40 of the Municipal Code <br /> including, but not limited to, height, area and setbacks. <br /> The Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed this item and recommended <br /> approval of the request in Resolution No. 351-92 (copy attached) . <br /> All materials submitted as part of the application have been included for <br /> your review.
