Obtain concept drawings from 2 additional golf course <br /> architects as well as update the concept drawing from <br /> Don Hereford; and <br /> 2 . Conduct an extensive market analysis to determine an <br /> accurate and in depth analysis of revenue and <br /> expenditure streams, profile of M. V. market share, <br /> growth and development trends in 'golf courses and <br /> other information important to the success of the <br /> City's proposed course. <br /> The recommendations are a result of several meetings with the Task Force, <br /> the consulting architect, City Staff and representatives from several <br /> municipal golf courses who urged the City to take the time and spend the <br /> money "up front" to thoroughly investigate design configurations, and <br /> market considerations that could impact the operations of the completed <br /> course. <br /> Estimates of additional concept designs and a market analysis range from <br /> $12-15, 000, to be paid out of the Golf Course Development Fund. <br /> If Council approves the "not to exceed" expenditure, staff will prepare <br /> RFP's to be sent out as soon as possible in order to facilitate completion <br /> of the additional site plans for.. a meeting of the Task Force after the <br /> first of the year. <--- <br /> (/, <br /> Samanth Orduno, City Administrator <br /> RLECOMMENDATION; <br /> Authorize an expenditure not to exceed $15,000 for additional golf course concept designs and a golf course <br /> market analysis to be paid out of the Golf Course Development Fund. <br />
