MEMORANDUM <br />TO: SAMANTHA ORDUNO, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: MICHELE SEVERSON, ADMINISTRATION SECRETARY <br />DATE: JULY 27, 1993 <br />RE: CONCERNS FROM COUNCIL MEETING, JULY 26, 1993 <br />• Lyle Nelson, 2357 Sherwood was concerned about sound barriers <br />on 610. <br />Also wanted to know if there was a timetable for the <br />Harstad development. <br />Concerned about flooding problems in the City. Was <br />speaking at the meeting on behalf of Barb and John <br />Savage, 7721 Bona Road, who could not make the meeting. <br />Mr. Nelson noted that the heavy rains and water caved in <br />a wall on Savages in -ground pool. Wanted someone to <br />contact the Savages. Savage's phone number 786-4856. <br />• Bill Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road commended the City Council on <br />the Festival In The Park on a great job. Mr. Frits stated that <br />he had heard no disparaging remarks. Mr. Frits suggested the <br />City begin working on implementing next year's Festival. <br />• James Paron, 2288 Highway 10 had a concern about the property <br />south of Woodale and north of Highway 10. On the north side <br />a nice culvert was put in and on the east 20 feet of plastic pipe. <br />This property has flooded and last winter killed off 30 to 40 <br />small trees. <br />• Mr. John Kroeger, 8280 Pleasant View Drive lives on the border of <br />Mounds View and Spring Lake Park and for the past seven out of <br />eight years has had to pump his property because of flooding. <br />Can anything be done for him by the two cities? <br />
