public courses in the Twin Cities on weekdays is fair and on <br />weekends is fair to poor. <br />A sampling of courses opened in the past several years — <br />River Oaks, Stonebrooke, Timber Creek, Fox Hollow, and <br />Deer Run — shows that the chances of getting to play as a <br />"walk on" is only "fair" for both weekdays and weekends. <br />Inverwood in Inver Grove Heights opened in August 1992, <br />and in early 1993 is reporting sell-outs on weekends and <br />season Patron Card sales of 800 by mid -May. <br />EGCS's review of the foregoing patterns suggests that golf <br />facilities that are of good quality in design, construction and <br />maintenance should fare very well in the local market. <br />6 <br />
