Staff has attempted to incorporate a number of safeguards into the <br /> wording of the amendment so that adverse impacts on adjacent property <br /> owners can be avoided or eliminated. <br /> When drafting the amendment, Staff made the assumption that the Council's <br /> intention is to provide residential properties within the City the ability <br /> to increase the amount and. area they have available for off-street parking <br /> area. Therefore, "residential" is specifically referenced in the amended <br /> verbiage. <br /> This item is provided for review and comment, any changes deemed necessary <br /> by the Council can be made prior to final action - tentatively scheduled <br /> for February 22, 1993 . <br /> .
