HANDED OUT AT 9/27/93 COUNCIL MEETING <br />Phone: (612) 784-3362 <br />offer °f dE City d{d iniihato% Phone: (612) 764 3055 <br />SAMANTHA ORDUNO F (612) 7843462 <br />"Quite Simply the Best" <br />MEMORANDUM <br />MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />TO: <br />DATE: SEPTEMBER 27, 1993 <br />RE: GOLF COURSE PROPERTIES <br />The proposed golf course is moving closer to reality with the recent agreement between <br />the City and the owners of the parcels of land the City needed to acquire for the golf <br />course site, Lots 5, 4, and 1/2 of Lot 3 of the Watson property and Lot 16 of the <br />Northstar Industrial Park in the city of Blaine. <br />The provisions of the preliminary agreement with Doug Watson, of Watson Properties, <br />are: <br />* Lots 5,4 and the southern most half of Lot 3 of the Northstar Industrial Park will <br />be purchased by the City for $.70/sq. ft. (509,434.2 sq. ft. for a total cost of <br />$356,603.94) <br />* The City will accept Outlot A in lieu of park dedication fees which would have <br />been paid for development of the total Watson acreage. <br />* The City will, at its costs, conduct a clean-up of the surface junk and debris on <br />the land to be purchased. <br />* The City will indicate a good faith gesture of consideration of TIF for the <br />development of the remaining Watson parcels in an amount not to exceed <br />$230,000 and for the purpose of lateral water and sewer connection fees and <br />construction of a retention pond on the northern most section of the existing <br />preliminary platted Outlot A. <br />* The construction of the pond will be in accordance with City standards, policies <br />and procedures. maintenance of said pond will be the responsibility of" 1e owners <br />of the preliminary platted Lots 1 & 2. <br />A� <br />inimom�x, <br />SWINK'. 2401 Highway 10 •Mounds View.
