Parks Seasonals were with us until the first week ofimming, <br /> f <br /> September. They were instrumental in the mowing, <br /> chemical applications activities while assisting Steve and <br /> Jeff with other special projects. All the seasonals were <br /> new this year except for our groundskeeper. Hopefully all <br /> will return for the next several summers. <br /> 2 . Several projects were accomplished during these months <br /> including: <br /> - Work on the Greenfield culvert complimenting <br /> - Installation of VB standards at City Hall, com P <br /> the work done by the Eagle Scout. <br /> - Replacement of the bangboard at Greenfield Park. <br /> - Installation of the BB goal at Lambert Park <br /> - Paving of Random Park parking lot <br /> - Paving of Silver View. Park path (to be completed <br /> - Paving of Hillview Park hockey rink - <br /> this week) <br /> - Placement of a new sump pump for the manhole which houses <br /> the-Silver View—Park irrigation system. fencing- Setting up soccer fields / goals / nets / <br /> - Measuring and setting-football fieldsatfield locations <br /> 3 . On-going duties have included: <br /> - mowings <br /> - trash removals <br /> - trimming <br /> - field grooming / line painting <br /> - changing the City sign <br /> - park and building inspections and repairs as necessary <br /> 4. Projects completed by the JPTA crew includes: <br /> - sealing Greenfield paved path <br /> - weeding playground sand lots <br /> - chipping of trails <br /> - painting trash L -.re1S <br /> - painting curb stops for Greenfield parking lot <br />
