1. The Fire Training Association shall consist of four <br />member departments. For purposes of this Agreement, <br />Spring Lake Park, Blaine and Mounds View shall be <br />collectively considered one Member and have one <br />representative on the Chiefs' Board. Spring Lake Park, <br />Blaine and Mounds View appoint the Spring Lake Park Fire <br />Department, Inc. as their agent, which together with the <br />cities of Fridley, Columbia Heights, and Brooklyn Center <br />shall be known as the ("Member Departments"). <br />2. Term: The term of this Agreement shall be perpetual <br />until only one Member Department remains. <br />3. .ire Training Facility. The training facility shall <br />consist of a training tower and bur❑ room and other <br />elements of training as determined and recommended by an <br />Operations Committee (Paragraph 14 hereof) and approved <br />by the Chiefs' Board. <br />4. Facility Site. The facility shall be constructed on <br />property owned by the City of Fridley and located at <br />348 - 71st Avenue N.°., Fridley, Minnesota. The Member <br />Departments and the City of Fridley hereby agree to <br />execute a twenty-five (25) year lease of the property <br />from Fridley to the Fire Training Association in <br />consideration of the payment of $25 for the lease term. <br />5. Ownership. Ownership of the facility, excluding land, <br />shall be jointly held by the Association. <br />-2- <br />
