Resolution 7382 <br />Page 3 <br />WHEREAS, on November 24, 2008 the City Council adopted Resolution <br />7361 authorizing analysis of the Ardan Avenue Drainage Subdistrict to update findings <br />from a previous 1989 Study and determine the impact on the 2009-2010 Street and <br />Utility Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 22, 2008 the City Council adopted Resolution <br />7381 approving the findings of the Ardan Avenue Subdistrict Drainage Study; and <br />WHEREAS,plans and specifications for the 2009-2010 Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project have been prepared in general accordance with the original <br />Feasibility Report and all subsequent Resolutions as noted above; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 10, 2008 the City Council adopted Resolution <br />7353 ordering the public improvements for Lake Court Drive and Lake Court Circle; and <br />WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the improvements to Lake Court <br />Drive and Lake Court Circle have been prepared; and <br />WHEREAS, the most efficient and economical means of proceeding with <br />the public improvements for Lake Court Circle and Lake Court Drive is to combine those <br />improvements with the improvements for the 2009-2010 Street and Utility Improvement <br />Project under a single construction contract; and <br />WHEREAS,the estimated construction cost of the project is in excess of <br />$100,000 based on the plans and specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, as per state statute, with an estimated contract amount in <br />excess of $100,000, publication must be made at least three weeks before the last day <br />to submit bids; and <br />WHEREAS,it is the intention of the City to utilize Municipal State Aid <br />Construction Funds for the designated State Aid routes within the 2009-2010 Street and <br />Utility Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS,approval of the plans and specifications must also be <br />received from the Minnesota Department of Transportation prior to the receipt of bids for <br />the project; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1.The plans and specifications for the 2009-2010 Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project, which were prepared pursuant to Resolution 7243, <br />are hereby approved as the plans and specifications in accordance with <br />which said improvements shall be constructed.
