RESOLUTION 7228 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLTUION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH <br />AND APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVES TO THE CHURCH’S “MOUNDS VIEW <br />SERVICE PROJECT FUND” COMMITTEE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church has generously supported activities that <br />have benefited the residents of Mounds View; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church would like to continue that support by <br />making a contribution to the City of Mounds View of $16,548.50 to support the following <br />below: <br /> <br />1. $5,260.00 to support family-friendly activities at the 2008 Mounds View <br />Festival in the Park; <br />2. $4,265.25 to the Mounds View Park and Recreation Department for <br />ongoing park improvement projects; <br />3. $4,265.25 to support the YMCA’s Y-Partners program run out of the <br />Mounds View Community Center to provide assistance and scholarships; <br />4. $2,758.00 to the EDA fund for activities that support the economic climate <br />of the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />gratefully acknowledges and accepts the donation of $16,548.50 from Bethlehem <br />Baptist Church and amends the 2008 Budget accordingly. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council appoints the following individuals or positions to serve on the Mounds View <br />Service Project Fund Committee: <br /> <br />1. _________________ <br />2. _________________ <br />3. _________________ <br />4. _________________ <br />5. _________________ <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 25th day of February, 2008 <br /> <br /> _____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> ____________________________________ <br />James Ericson, Interim City Clerk-Administrator <br />(seal)
