(The County <br />solicited cities to determine the overall need and level of funding needed to apply <br />to a grant that would help fund pedestrian projects.) <br />• Work with County regarding pedestrian accommodations on County Road H <br />project <br />• Ramsey County has included pedestrian accommodations in the design for both <br />the I-35W bridge and County Road 10/County Road H intersection improvement. <br />• Participate in Ramsey County Comprehensive Pedestrian and Bicycle System <br />Plan meeting to talk about Mounds View's needs and opportunities. (The County <br />solicited cities to determine the overall need and level of funding needed to apply <br />to a grant that would help fund pedestrian projects.) <br />• Survey work is complete and preliminary design layout has begun for trail <br />segments #6 and #11. <br />• Segment #6 was reduced in scope and will now extend between Red Oak Drive <br />and Groveland Road due to budget constraints. Additionally, connection to the <br />city limit would result in a dead end trail until Spring Lake Park constructs trail <br />along County Road10, which is not planned at this time. <br />• Possible use of contract maintenance for the County Road 10 median and <br />boulevard planters is being explored. <br /> <br />
